The CFOV Matching Fund
Here is how it works:
- Donor contributions are pooled into a matching fund
- Local nonprofits raise funds for their own missions
- CFOV matches those funds, multiplying the impact of every dollar
- Organizations receive increased support while donors see their giving go further
CFOV match funds multiply what organizations are raising on their own and turn individual generosity into collective impact. The Matching Fund Program does more than increase dollars raised—it creates a spirit of collaboration among nonprofit organizations.

The Big Give 2025
The Big Give is more than an event, it’s a snapshot of what’s possible when a community comes together. This video shows where your donations went and the nonprofits working every day to make Ogden Valley stronger, more connected, and more vibrant.
As we wrap up the year, we invite you to donate and help fuel this impact into the year ahead. Every gift helps these organizations continue their important work.
A HISTORIC MILESTONE
for the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley!
On September 23, 2025, we proudly awarded our first-ever CFOV Grants of almost $75,000 — made possible by the gift from Powder Mountain’s Timberline Chairlift auction.
These grants support special projects that uplift our community, and we’re honored to recognize the incredible nonprofits making a difference.
With Powder Mountain’s generosity — and hopefully the support of more community leaders — we plan to make these grants an annual gift back to the nonprofits that keep our Valley thriving.
