The annual Community Foundation of Ogden Valley (CFOV) giving period is underway! Please consider a donation to strengthen our community. The Foundation’s fundraising period is from May 1 to September 30. During this five-month drive, the Community Foundation raises funds for the Matching Fund Program. The Matching Fund Program amplifies generosity and strengthens collaboration across the Valley. Rather than asking nonprofits to fundraise alone, CFOV brings donors and organizations together—leveraging donor dollars to support 17 local nonprofit organizations working to improve life in Ogden Valley. Think of your donation to the CFOV as a “one stop shop” for supporting nonprofit organizations in the Ogden Valley.
Here is how it works:
- Donor contributions are pooled into a matching fund
- Local nonprofits raise funds for their own missions
- CFOV matches those funds, multiplying the impact of every dollar
- Organizations receive increased support while donors see their giving go further
CFOV match funds multiply what organizations are raising on their own and turn individual generosity into collective impact. The Matching Fund Program does more than increase dollars raised—it creates a spirit of collaboration among nonprofit organizations. Last year Community Foundation matched 100% of each NPO’s collected donations (up to $5,000) during the giving period.
CFOV fundraising efforts in 2026 will benefit the following Ogden Valley non-profit organizations:
- Eden Valley Trails
- Ogden Valley Land Trust
- Mountain Arts & Music
- Backcountry Horsemen
- Boy Scouts (Crossroads of the West)
- Ogden Valley Recreation
- Friends of Mount Ogden (formerly Northern Wasatch Search and Rescue
- Ogden Valley Tennis & Pickleball Association
- Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports
- Ogden Nordic
- Snowbasin Sports Education Foundation
- Snowcrest Junior High Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
- Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
- Trails Foundation of Northern Utah
- Wolf Creek Foundation
- Weber Interscholastic Cycling Association
Please consider supporting the CFOV. By doing so your donation is spread amongst all these amazing organizations. CFOV is governed by an all-volunteer board, ensuring that resources are directed where they matter most—back into the community.
Individuals can donate via the website cfov.net or send a donation to the CFOV at PO Box 684, Eden, UT 84310.
