On Saturday, January 31, the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley (CFOV) hosted the 3rd Annual Après Ski event to gather the community and raise money for local nonprofit organizations. For the third year in a row, the event sold out and raised over $9,000 for local nonprofit organizations. Guests enjoyed the soulful music of Christian Scheller, noshed on a delicious buffet provided by Peddler’s Café and Catering, and bid on 24 silent auction items donated by local Valley businesses and individuals.
CFOV would like to thank the following businesses who donated items for the silent auction: Powder Mountain, Ogden Raptors, , Free Spirit Mountain Spa, Simply Eden, Dancing Moose, Eden Distillery, Ogden Valley Copy
Additional thanks to Mountain Luxury for generously allowing the CFOV to use their beautiful space at no charge.
And thank you, too, to local Valley residents who donated items: Kay Hoogland and Jim O’Brien, Sharon Bradford, Charlie Graff, Beth Mannino and Paul Schick, Colten Farrel, Craig Schriber, Shea Shumway, Hap and Jo Stephens, and Allen Wheelwright.
These generous donors help support CFOV’s mission: to enrich the lives of Ogden Valley residents and visitors through philanthropic leadership for recreation and community service. The 16 nonprofit organizations supported by the CFOV improve the recreational experiences of Ogden Valley residents and visitors, work with the community to develop a vision of and priority for recreational facilities, obtain funding and support donors and charitable groups in the development and selection of opportunities related to the above in a way that strengthens the fabric of the community.
